Sunnycott Caravan Park

Located one and a half miles from Cowes, Isle Of Wight.
Sunnycott caravans are in the range
of 28' x 10' up to 30' x12' depending on the layout and berths
provided. All the caravans are non smoking, pets are accepted in
some.
Caravan access
All the caravans have 2 or 3 steps
up to them and a hand rail fixed to the steps, the doorways inside
the caravans are slightly narrower than a conventional door
Parking
There is a dedicated parking
space provided alongside each caravan and an additional gravelled
parking area for visitors etc.
Bathroom
All caravans have a conventional
flush WC, a shower and wash hand basin. hot water is provided by an
instantaneous gas water heater giving hot water on demand.
Kitchen
all utensils, plates, cooking
vessels etc are provided to cater for the appropriate number of
berths within the caravan. Each kitchen is equipped with a fridge,
oven and hob, microwave, and kettle.
Bedrooms
Most six berth caravans provide a
separate bedroom containing a double bed, wardrobe and dressing
table. An additional bedroom containing two single beds is provided
in six berth caravans. There is a pull out double bed in the lounge
area.

Additional information
Mobile phone coverage is reasonable
for most networks on the park, limited WiFi is available, please ask at
reception for coverage etc.
Shop and reception
Contains a limited amount of
provisions, milk, tinned items etc. Wide range of brochures, maps
leaflets of places to visit on the Isle Of Wight. Also a library of
books which you may borrow (and keep if you haven't finished it!)
and a cupboard full of board games. There is a list of taxi numbers,
bus times etc.
Laundry
We have a small coin operated
laundry containing a top loading washing machine, a tumble dryer,
sink and ironing facilities.
Security
All caravans have conventional
locks, you will be issued with a key for this, any unauthorised
visitors need to report to reception. The only access to the park is
past the main house.
Caravan
Sales:
Caravans are for holiday
use only, not permanent living accommodation. The site is open 365
days a year so you can stay at any time of year. During the period
1st of June - 15th of September you are required to offer the
caravan for rental for a period of not less than 6 weeks in total.
Costs of caravan ownership
The ground rent for the 2015/2016 season is £2,600 pa payable 1st
March. In addition to this you should allow approx £450 pa to cover
insurance, rates and safety checks. Gas and electricity are invoiced
to you on a monthly basis.
We will obtain bookings for you, arrange
cleaning, repairs, check customers in and out, generally manage the
caravan on your behalf. The commission charge is 25% of the booking
and excludes cleaning costs. Many of our customers often cover their
annual running costs including ground rent!
